Amazon to spend $1.16 billion to buy Seattle HQ

(Reuters) - Amazon.com Inc said on Friday that it will spend more than $1 billion to buy its corporate headquarters in Seattle from Microsoft Corp co-founder Paul Allen's investment firm.
